Description
Macallan 1851 Inspiration 70CL is a stunning, collectible release from the famous Speyside distillery that was inspired by an original Macallan whisky from 1851. The distillery’s master-craftsman tasted a number of antique whiskies from around that time before setting about replicating them for this release.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Burnt umber
Nose: Sandalwood and creamy cappuccino with warm apple pie. A little bit of tobacco and terroir and some lovely perfume.
Palate: Fruit blossoms and fruit compote. A bit of essential oils with tropical fruit.
Finish: Long and oaky with coffee grounds and more fruit blossoms.
