Description
Highland Park Light 17Y 70CL The second release in a series from Highland Park, following on from The Dark. While The Dark was drawn from European oak Sherry-seasoned casks, The Light has been drawn from refill American oak casks – resulting in a brighter hue and a flavour profile to match.
Tasting Notes:
Nose Vibrant citrus notes up front, before a wave of green apple and sawdust notes arrive.
Palate Tangy mango, pear drops, vanilla-rich malt, a subtle hint of smoke (but not much!), pink peppercorn.
Finish Resinous oak and waxy peels, with a touch of forest floor earthiness.
