BELL’S CHRISTMAS 2004 8Y 70CL

Firstly, in 1825, Thomas Sandeman established a whisky shop in Perth. And later partnered with Arthur Bell. Who became the sole owner by the late 1840s.

Bell recognized the potential of blending malt and grain whisky. And appointed a London agent by 1863.

He refrained from branding under the family name until 1896.
Under William Govan Farquharson’s leadership from 1942. Bell’s Extra Special gained prominence.

By 1970, it led in Scotland, and by the 1980s, in the UK.
Moreover, in 1985, Guinness Group acquired Bell’s. Subsequently forming United Distillers with DCL in 1987.

The Bell’s Decanters originated in the 1920s with a bell-shaped design. Evolving from blue glass to porcelain by the 1930s.

And most importantly, various firms managed production until Royal Doulton took over in the 1950s.

Wade Ceramics continued production in the 1960s and ’70s, hand-finishing each piece with 24-carat gold.

Commemorative editions included Royal Weddings and Royal Family milestones. Thereby expanding the collection’s appeal globally.

Bell’s Decanter Christmas 2004 marks the series finale. As a result, Honoring Scottish inventors and featuring John Logie Baird. And known for pioneering television.
