Balvenie Madeira Cask 17Y 70CL has a certain delicious appeal, and that’s certainly the case with this supple 17-year-old Balvenie. Fusing sweetness and smokiness, the Speysider was bottled at 43%.
Tasting Note
Nose: Good sweetness, thick, spicy. Sultana, winter spices, toffee apple.
Palate: Full, thick. Lovely orchard fruits, some cherry, walnut, vanilla and fig.
Finish: Drying oak, toffee.
