Description
Highland Park Fire 70CL This 15 Year Old single malt is encased in a specially-commissioned, crimson glass decanter, as an ode to the battle of fire and ice that signified Ragnarök, the end of the old word and the beginning of the new in Norse mythology.
Entirely matured in refill Port seasoned casks – a first for Highland Park – the result is a vibrant whisky with the natural hue of glowing flames. Damsons, cinnamon, dried fruit and chocolate dance on the tongue, before sizzling to an intense fruity finish.
Tasting Notes:
Nose This doesn’t shout at you, instead the smoke is discreet backed up with some tasteful saline and red cherry notes.
Palate All about elegance, some delicate wood smoke with fresh orange fruity notes and some caramel.
Finish Long and gently smoky.
