Description
GlenAllachie 2008 70CL A marvellous single cask bottling of GlenAllachie single malt here, drawn from a single Port pipe! It was distilled back in 2008, and bottled up in 2020 after 12 years of maturation, resulting in 700 bottles, presented at cask strength.
Tasting Note:
Nose: Treacle tart, juicy redcurrant and apple, just a hint of earthy oak.
Palate: Spicy at first with cinnamon and nutmeg, before chocolate and more redcurrant sweetness comes along to mellow it out.
Finish: A touch of chocolatey coffee on the finish.
