This limited-edition honors Clan Mackenzie and serves as the second release crafted by Master Distiller Richard Paterson.
It celebrates Castle Leod, the home of the Caberfeidh since 1606, just 14 miles from The Dalmore Distillery.
The whisky matures in American white oak and Spanish sherry wood, finishing for 18 months in barriques from a first cru classe Bordeaux Château.
It follows the 2010 Mackenzie bottling and aims to support the upkeep of Castle Leod.
Bottled at 46% ABV, this expression showcases rich complexity with Bordeaux influence.
