Description
Chivas Regal Ultis 20Y 70CL is the latest bottling of Chivas and draws on the concept of the first Chivas Regal Ultis. Ultis XX consists of a total of five single malts from the five distilleries Strathisla, Allt A’bhainne, Braeval, Longmorn and Tormore. The malts are blended with grain whisky from the Strathclyde distillery to create the blended Scotch whisky. This whisky serves as a tribute to the five predecessors of Master Blender Sandy Hyslop, who played a significant role in the history of Chivas Regal. The significance of this number can be seen in the five copper rings on the neck of the Blendet Malt bottle. In total, Chivas Regal Ultis XX matures for 20 years.
Tasting notes:
Nose: vanilla bean, sweet butterscotch, red apples and raspberry jam.
Palate: floral honey, milk chocolate and syrup of poached pears.
Finish: Long lasting, sweetish, soft.
