Bladnoch Liora 70CL : Bladnoch Distillery presents Bladnoch Liora, the first bottling with a higher alcohol content in the “”Classic Collection””.
Master Blender Dr. Nick Savage used virgin oak barrels on the one hand and fresh bourbon barrels on the other for the Bladnoch Liora and opted for a higher alcohol strength in order to emphasize the influence of the fresh American white oak in a lush and powerful way.
This is how this Lowland Malt presents itself with broad, aromatic shoulders that linger on the palate for a long time.
Nose: freshly cut apples with Aromas of roasted caramel – plus floral aromas
Palate: caramelized toffee apples with peppery notes and the spice of freshly cut oak
Finish : long finish with a slight warm dryness
