Description
Balvenie Triple Cask 16Y 70CL is the result of the intuition of the distillery’s great “Malt Master”, David Stewart, who selects the different woods in which this distillate rests for 16 years. The result is a great product, with an undoubtedly complex olfactory and taste profile, but always straightforward and precise in its many nuances.
TASTING NOTES:
Colour: It has a golden yellow colour, characterised by a pleasant chromatic concentration.
Aroma: On the nose, almonds and dried fruit are perceived as the “main scents”, with notable and fasciant effluvia, while on the finish, experts will also detect a very slight reference to the scent of cherries.
Flavour: In the mouth it is full-bodied, the sip is generous, characterised by a soft, sweet flavour and a slight spicy nuance. It closes with an elegant and persistent finish.
