Description
Balvenie Founders Reserve 10Y 70CL is a classic 10 year old Balvenie matured in both Bourbon casks and sherry casks, then married (a process of further maturation after mixing the two). The founder’s reserve is now discontinued after being in the core range since the 1980s. Upon opening the aromas of citrus, hops, ginger and honey, the palate is honey, apple, oats, vanilla, and oak with a medium finish of apple, hops, ginger and oak.

Nose ~ Rich and complex with honey and orange notes and just a hint of peat.
Taste ~ Full-bodied honeyed sweetness, with light spicy notes and a hint of sherry fruitiness. Its finish is long and pleasingly rich.
