Balvenie 25Y decade/70CL this 25-year-old expression from The Balvenie showcases the Speyside distillery’s signature characteristics of decadent runny honey and rich oak undertones with layers of fresh fruit, marshmallow and cinnamon.
Created from a marriage of American and European oak barrels overseen by Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE, his six decades of experience allows for the perfect balance in maturation. This limited edition Balvenie is bottled at 48% abv.
The nose opens with soft autumn fruits, honey, crystalised ginger, and rich oakiness. The palate has bold vanilla with more oak presence, fresh fruits and cinnamon apple tart, ending in a long, lingering sweetness.
