Arran Lochranza Castle 21Y 70CL is a well-balanced and complex whisky with salted caramel, baked almonds, toasted ginger and gentle fruits on the nose before following up with honeycomb, sultanas and subtle floral tones on the palate.
Nose: Full of aromas of old bookcases, root ginger, almond and apple cake, sherried fruits and caramelised almonds.
Palate: Gentle toasted meringue sweetness with stewed apples, cocoa and a helping of allspice and vanilla.
Finish: Dried apricot, toasted almonds and dark chocolate shavings.
