Balvenie Peat Week 2003 Vintage 14Y 70CL this second release was distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2018 at 14 years old.
The distillery uses Speyside peat, giving the whisky a very different character to smoky drams from the island: delicate and gently smoky.
Tasting Notes:
NOSE
Gentle sweet peat smoke with some lighter floral notes and delicate butterscotch honey.
TASTE
Velvety and round to taste with the peat smoke balancing citrus flavours, oaky vanilla and blossom honey.
FINISH
Gentle smoke with a lingering and creamy vanilla sweetness.
