Description
DIMPLE OLD DECANTER 75CL (Without Box)
John Haig & Co. began its journey in 1824 with the founding of the Cameronbridge distillery.
John’s uncles owned distilleries, and his aunt had married John Jameson in Dublin, continuing a strong distilling tradition.
In 1877, Haig & Co. joined the five founding members of DCL, operating independently until 1919. They earned a reputation for their Gold Label and Dimple blends, which reached markets around the world. DCL granted them licenses for Glenkinchie, Mannochmore, and Glenlossie malt distilleries, but Haig & Co.
Never bottled these single malts. Although the company’s prominence declined in the latter half of the 20th century, Diageo has revived the Haig name recently, making it the single grain brand for the Cameronbridge distillery. This ceramic decanter contains Haig’s Dimple blended Scotch.
