BELL’S DECANTER 20Y 75CL
Arthur Bell worked for a drinks company before joining Bells Whisky in 1837. He became a partner in 1851. Drawing on his experience in the whisky industry, he saw great opportunities in the blended whisky market.
This prompted him to travel extensively across Scotland and the isles to find high-quality malt whisky for his blends.
Instead of following the usual method of blending whisky, he actively sought only well-aged, properly matured whisky.
This meticulous approach established exceptionally high standards for Bells Whisky, solidifying Arthur Bell’s reputation as a whisky connoisseur.
At first, Arthur Bell believed that the quality of his whisky alone would sell it, so none of the early bottles featured the Bells label.
In 1904, his sons joined him in running the business and convinced him to launch their new whisky as Arthur Bell & Sons Extra Special Old Scotch Whisky.
