Glenmorangie A Tale of Tokyo represents a celebration of Japan’s vibrant culture. Basically, inspired by his travels, Dr. Bill Lumsden, the director of whisky creation, crafted this unique single malt. This release marks the fourth installment in the ‘Tale of’ series. Notably, it becomes the first Glenmorangie whisky partially aged in Japanese Mizunara oak casks.
Moreover, this expression blends whisky matured in sherry and bourbon barrels with spirit aged in rare Mizunara oak. Bottled at 46% ABV, it offers a rich flavor profile that captures the sensory contrasts of Tokyo. Furthermore, the packaging, designed in collaboration with renowned artist Yamaguchi Akira, reflects the city’s layered history and culture.
