Created by The Dalmore’s Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass and Maurizio Mucciola of Kengo Kuma Associates. This whisky starts its journey in American white oak. It then matures in hand-selected Italian Amarone red wine casks and bespoke ‘Kintsugi’ casks. These innovative casks—unique to Scotch Whisky—combine Scottish Tay Oak, Japanese Mizunara Oak, and American White Oak. Honoring the heritage of each Luminary involved.
Mucciola’s exquisite packaging design captures the essence of the Luminary No.1 Rare sculpture. Incorporating wood and metal particles to present the whisky beautifully.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Rich fruits, panna cotta, honey roasted almonds, and citrus oils.
Palate: Citrus, chocolate, cherries, figs, brioche, and moist ginger cake.
Finish: Dried fruits and honey blend with balanced wood spice and cacao.
