Unveiled in 2018, Chivas Regal XV is a 15-year-old blended Scotch whisky finished in casks that previously held Grande Champagne Cognac. Whisky makers increasingly use Cognac casks for maturation, and we think this trend is fantastic. It brings vibrant fruit notes and rich oak to the forefront.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Powerful orange and peach notes, backed up by juicy barley.
Palate: Butterscotch, red apple and caraway. A touch of grain sweetness in the background.
Finish: Heavy vanilla and pear on the finish.
