BenRiach Distillery distilled and bottled this limited edition 22-Year-Old peated single malt Scotch whisky. After initial maturation in American oak casks, BenRiach finished it in Jamaican dark rum barrels.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Sweet barley and earthy peat combine with banoffee pie, sweet cereals, and sprinkles of ginger, creating a delightfully full aroma.
Palate: The rich delivery features barbecued pineapple and dried apricots blending with caramel shortbread, vanilla marzipan, and rum spices. Grassy wood smoke lingers throughout.
Finish: Crystallized brown sugar and a surprising hint of light coconut fade gently.
