THE MACALLAN TERRA 70CL : Forming part of the Travel Retail quest range, Macallan Terra was matured in first fill sherry oak casks made from European and American oak. The nose is fresh and vibrant with notes of oranges, coffee, brioche buns, sultanas and walnut loaf. On the palate, this lovely dram has notes of molten chocolate, dried apricots, toffee penny sweets and some strawberry preserve. The finish is medium length with notes of baking spices with some oak developing.

Description

THE MACALLAN TERRA 70CL is part of the Speyside-based distillery’s Travel Retail Quest Collection range launched in late 2017. This particular expression is drawn from first-fill sherry seasoned oak casks, with the casks made of European and American oak sourced from two respected family cooperages.

Tasting Notes:
Nose Fresh orange, brioche, coffee, sultana and walnut loaf.
Palate Melted chocolate, dried apricot, toffee pennies and a touch of strawberry jam.
Finish Baking spices and dried oak notes take shape on the finish.
