Description
THE MACALLAN LUMINA 70CL is made with whisky aged in sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, as well as hogsheads. While sherry does get a good look-in with this one, it’s a much more vanilla and toffee-focussed dram.
Tasting Notes:
Nose Poached pear and stewed apples, with a kick of black pepper underneath. Some treacle tart notes, too.
Palate Caramelised nuts dusted with cinnamon, a whiff of waxy peels, guava.
Finish Fizzy oak and ground nutmeg.
