Released in late 2022, this limited-edition single malt scotch whisky showcases The Macallan’s legacy and community spirit. The distillery has rooted itself in Speyside, Scotland, since 1824. Bottled at 43.5% ABV, this 70cl bottle captures the essence of the distillery.
The Home Collection honors the distillery’s traditions while embracing the future. It comes from the new, state-of-the-art facility. The whisky blends European and American oak casks, along with refill casks. This maturation creates a whisky that balances complexity and smoothness. It presents a rich amber color, a delicate nose, and a flavorful palate.
On the nose, the whisky opens with butterscotch, figs, dates, almond, and polished oak. Gentle floral notes follow, creating a complex aroma. The palate introduces sweet spices, oak spice, vanilla, and ginger. These flavors blend seamlessly. The finish is medium in length.
