Description
OLD PARR TRIBUTE EDITION 75CL
Heritage and Legacy
Basically, Old Parr Tribute 75CL honors Thomas Parr. According to folklore, he lived for 152 years. His name symbolizes longevity and wisdom. This whisky captures that spirit.
Exceptional Craftsmanship
Moreover, Master Distillers from Old Parr craft this blend with care. They select fine whiskies from Scotland’s four corners. Special oak casks enhance its depth and complexity.
Refined Flavor Profile
Furthermore, Old Parr Tribute delivers rich flavors. Bourbon and sherry casks shape its unique character. Creamy coconut, exotic fruits, and subtle peat smoke create balance. Hints of chocolate, cinnamon spice, and mature oak add warmth.
A Prestigious Lineage
The Greenlees Brothers introduced Old Parr in 1909. Initially, the brand succeeded in London. Later, export markets embraced it. Ownership changed over time, leading to Diageo in 1997.
Exclusive Editions
Old Parr offers various expressions. Firstly, the 12-year-old Grand Old Parr (40% ABV) remains a classic. Secondly, the 15-year-old (43% ABV) provides extra depth. Then, the 18-year-old Superior (43% ABV) matures longer for complexity. Discontinued blends include Old Parr Elizabethan and the older Tribute. In the end, in 2014, a new Tribute launched in Colombia.
Blending Excellence
Cragganmore serves as the backbone. Glendullan has played a role since World War II. The brand sold over 1 million cases in 2011, ranking among the top twenty Scotch whiskies.
Production and Distribution
Old Parr was once bottled in Kilmarnock until 2012. Now, production takes place in Leven, Fife. It remains unavailable in the UK and Europe but thrives internationally.
