Kavalan Solist Pedro Ximenez 70CL : Kavalan is Taiwan’s first whisky maker and the nation’s only family-owned whisky distillery. This particular whisky from Kavalan was an early production release. It was matured in Pedro Ximenez sherry type cask.
Flavour: Rich in dark syrup and maltose sweetness, it gradually emerges with hints of rosemary and lemongrass. Rich and sweet caramel and silky chocolate add a charming sweetness to the finish.
Palate: Rich fruitiness blended with chocolate aromas that melt delicately on your palate. Fruity and warm, with smooth and mellow results from the combination of the classic PX sherry characters and the subtropical heat of Taiwan. Luscious raisin and honey syrup linger in the mouth.
