BELL’S PRINCE CHARLES’ WEDDING 1981 Without Box 75CL

The rare Bell’s Wade decanter celebrates the 1981 wedding of H.R.H. Prince Charles to Lady Diana Spencer.

Originating as blue glass in the 1920s, it evolved into a bell-shaped porcelain design by the 1940s. Handmade in Edinburgh’s Thistle Street with gold lettering and a unique whisky blend.

Arthur Bell founded Bell’s blended whisky in 1851 in Perth, Scotland, using malt from Blair Athol and Pittyvaich from 1974 to 1993.

Acquiring Blair Athol, Dufftown, and Inchgower in the 1930s, Arthur Bell & Sons became a major player in the Scotch industry by the 1970s, bought by Guinness in 1985 and later by DCL.
Diageo now continues Bell’s blends’ tradition.
