In 1895, Arthur Bell’s sons, Arthur Kinmond and Robert Duff Bell, joined the family business.
Arthur Kinmond oversaw the domestic market while Robert Duff focused on international operations.
After Arthur Bell’s death in 1900, the brothers continued their partnership until Robert’s retirement in 1921. Arthur Kinmond, also known as ‘A.K.’.
Then operated independently until his passing in 1942.
The 2012 Bell’s Christmas Decanter commemorates Robert Duff Bell. Born on June 7, 1871, at Bell’s home in Moncrieff Terrace, Perth, affectionately called “Robin”.
Robert passed away at the age of 70 in 1942, the same year as his brother.
