The distillery distilled it in 1970, and it matured for 44 years in sherry hogsheads, which gave it a complex and sophisticated profile. Tasting Notes

Firstly, on the nose, Tullibardine 1970 44Y reveals an elegant aroma of oak and soft toffee, followed by a rich, floral rancio. As you take a deeper breath, notes of rum-raisin ice cream emerge, complemented by a delicate sprinkle of dried herbs. This fragrant complexity promises a truly unique experience.

Tullibardine 1970 44Y tells a story of resilience and craftsmanship. William Delmé-Evans founded Tullibardine distillery in 1949. The distillery has passed through several ownerships and transformations since then. Initially, Brodie Hepburn took over, followed by Invergordon, and then Whyte & Mackay. Moreover, in 2003, Tullibardine Distillery Ltd. resumed production under new ownership. In 2011, Picard Vins & Spiritueux bought the distillery. They reinvigorated it with a modern visitor center and improved accessibility.
