THE GLENDRONACH CASK STRENGTH BATCH 4 70CL
GlenDronach released their fourth Cask Strength batch in April 2014. The batch included 17,806 bottles at 54.7% ABV. This whisky comes from Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso Sherry casks and features no chill filtration.
It shines with a rich amber color edged with gold. Expect a perfect blend of sweet golden sultanas and rich fig syrup.
The whisky presents a warm contrast of ground almonds, orange bitters, and a gentle dusting of black pepper. It also features apricot syrup infused with stem ginger and vanilla. Mellow notes of freshly mashed barley add depth to the long, classic palate.
