Tasting Notes
Nose: Wonderful OB flavor in the nose. Old books. Fat. Old butter. Roasted chestnuts. Dusty shelves. Fennel. Nutmeg. Baked apple. It has something of old-school bourbon. As you imagine it in the Wild West around 1900, slightly simmering hay behind.
Taste: Apple peel. Floury apple quite intense. Autumn leaves. Parchment. Simmering paper. Grilled lemon juice. Tree resin. A lot of lightly roasted malt.
Finish: Pear, apple peel, malt, medium length, dry.
