Description
MACALLAN 1991 RAREST RESERVE DUNCAN TAYLOR 33Y 10CL
Duncan Taylor has released the Macallan 1991 Rarest Reserve Duncan Taylor 33Y, a rare and exceptional whisky from the iconic Macallan distillery. Basically, released in 2024, this whisky celebrates Macallan’s 200th anniversary. Also, Macallan distilled it in 1991 and matured it for 33 years in Oloroso sherry casks, enhancing its flavor profile.
Moreover, Macallan’s Curiously Small Stills help produce the spirit’s fruity, full-bodied character. These small stills maximize copper contact, concentrating the new make spirit and bringing out rich aromas and flavors.
At 50.2% ABV, this whisky strikes a perfect balance between strength and smoothness. Firstly, the nose greets you with a tropical fruit cocktail of pineapple, banana, and notes of apple pastries, maple syrup, and dark chocolate. The scent invites deeper exploration.
Then, the palate reveals creamy toffee, complemented by gentle spices. Ripe fruit and spun sugar combine to create a sweet, patisserie-like experience. These flavors balance beautifully, offering a refined, indulgent taste.
Finally, the finish lingers with milk and dark chocolate, raisins, and biscuit. The rich, lasting flavors invite slow enjoyment. This whisky offers more than a taste—it provides an unforgettable experience.
Duncan Taylor limited the release to 500 bottles, each presented in a luxurious gold bar-inspired display box. The Macallan 1991 stands as both a rare whisky and a collector’s treasure. Connoisseurs seeking the finest single malts will find it essential.
