Kavalan Solist Ex-Bourbon Cask 1L : Kavalan Solist ex-Bourbon is a delightfully complex, multi-dimensional single malt whisky, with vanilla, fruit and coconut highlights. Matured in hand selected fresh American ex-Bourbon casks, the whisky is available at cask strength and non chill-filtered hence it retains a fuller flavour of a natural single malt whisky.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Creamy vanilla custard, sweet rockmelon, hints of mango and coconut, ripe pear and soft aromas of garden herbs.
Palate: Tropical fruit punch, well integrated oak balances the sweetness, toasted cashews with creamy vanilla.
Finish: Long and fruity, oak and tropical fruits with some soft spices.
