Description
JOHNNIE WALKER BLUE LABEL OLDEST 75CL
John Walker’s Oldest 15-60yo marks the debut of what would become Johnnie Walker Blue Label. Basically, the world’s No.1 ultra-premium blended whisky. This release represents a small but significant piece of whisky history.
Launched in 1987 exclusively for the duty-free market. Oldest remained available until 1992, when it rebranded as Johnnie Walker Blue. Also, this exquisite blend includes whiskies aged from 15 to 60 years.
The stock used to create both Oldest and Blue mainly consisted of over-aged whiskies from a period of maturation. Thus, Oldest not only captures a key moment in whisky history but also offers the rich, complex character that paved the way for its renowned successor.
