Released in 1996, this limited-edition bottle honors John Dewar & Sons, marking 150 years since John Dewar founded his wine and spirit merchants in Perth in 1846. The edition features a blend of hand-selected whiskies and comes in a distinctive Art Deco decanter.
On opening, expect aromas of citrus, marshmallow, and melon. The palate presents fizzy lemon, oven-baked potatoes, and oats, with a finish of melon, grapefruit, and banana. The whisky has no declared age statement and a bottling strength of 40%, which offers a balanced and approachable profile.
This rare release, limited to 1,846 bottles, pays tribute to Dewar’s legacy of excellence and craftsmanship.
