Description
CHIVAS REGAL PININFARINA LIMITED EDITION II 70CL
Chivas Brothers launched the first Chivas Regal blend in 1909, quickly establishing a strong presence in the US market.
Prohibition briefly disrupted its success, but it also paved the way for Canadian distillers Seagram to enter the Scotch market.
Seagram acquired Chivas Brothers in 1949, adding Strathisla to their portfolio and building three more distilleries.
They also acquired Campbell Distillers and The Glenlivet Distillers. Positioning themselves as one of Scotland’s largest whisky companies.
When Seagram collapsed in the early 2000s, Pernod Ricard acquired Chivas Brothers and, in a separate deal, Allied Domecq with the Ballantine’s brand.
Today, Chivas produces two of the top three selling blends globally. And its distillery portfolio, with Glenlivet as its flagship brand, rivals only Diageo.
