BENRIACH CASK STRENGTH BATCH 1 70CL (Billy Walker)
It is a classic Speyside and Benriach single malt with a creamy character and notes of vanilla, fruit and sweet barley.
This first batch was bottled at 57.2% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added color.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Sweet oak spices with roasted orchard fruit and crushed barley. Vanilla pods with coconut. Light floral notes and the complexity of ripe fruit.
Palate: a typical Benriach with creamy heather honey, apples, pears, and apricots followed by candied zests and fresh and pungent ginger.
Finish: a classic combination of vanilla, roasted coconut and sweet barley.
