GlenAllachie 2006 70CL “A delicious single cask from GlenAllachie, this expression was distilled in 2006 and matured in a PX Puncheon for 14 years before it was bottled in 2020. Just 632 bottles have been filled at a natural cask strength of 60.2% abv, exclusively for members of The W Club.
This dram packs a punch(eon)! Aromas of chocolate and toffee fill the nose, giving way to a creamy and rich palate. With each drop of water added, the sweetness gives way to more spice that lingers in a warm and pleasant finish.

Description

GlenAllachie 2006 70CL The latest from the Single Cask series, which was distilled in 2006! This exclusive and very old fifth edition 16 year old Scotch single malt whisky was specially selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker. It was distilled on April 19, 2006.
Aged for 16 years in an ex-sherry Oloroso Puncheon cask with the number #1408, which gave it a penetrating aroma full of notes of fruit, herbs, vanilla and cinnamon. The whisky comes from the Speyside region and is created without cold filtration and added dyes.
Finally, it was bottled with a high alcohol content of 59.8 %
