Description
THE GLENDRONACH TRADITIONALLY PEATED 70CL
To honor The Glendronach’s early whisky-making heritage, Master Blender Dr. Rachel Barrie crafted The Glendronach Traditionally Peated using the principles established by our founder James Allardice nearly two centuries ago. Back then, Highlands distilleries burned peat in the kiln during the final stages of barley malting, creating a rich, warm, and earthy smoke.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Enjoy a delightful aroma of ripe gooseberries dusted with cinnamon sugar, contrasted by a crisp citrus twist. The delicate peat influence introduces a smoldering charred wood character, complemented by freshly ground barley and hints of vanilla toffee.
Palate: Savor burnt orange and treacle on a foundation of cloves and smoked bramble.
